Week 9 Prayer
From the Principal
Greetings everyone and welcome to a new week.
The move of the senior students into the new building has taken place smoothly and all are settled in- as we iron out any kinks we look forward to the next phase of the project where the old portables are removed.
Today I have had the joy of working with the Gr 5 children as they were interviewed for their leadership positions- they have put a great deal of work into their applications and all have spoken well today.
My thanks also to the staff that attended the Gr 3 camp for their effort and personal sacrifice to make this event happen.
2025 Staffing Updates: I am pleased to announce that Claire Powling has announced this morning that she is pregnant and expecting her 3rd child in the middle of next year. Claire will work until the end of 1st term before she commences Maternity leave. We are thrilled for Claire , Clint and the boys.
Melissa Fox has also accepted a position with DOBCEL working within the Structured Literacy team. Mel has been a great contributor to our staff and the overall performance of the school and we wish her well as she accepts this position for the next 12 months and potentially more.
Carley Hickey and Marie Wall are also taking 12 months leave in 2025, whilst we will also farewell Laura Woodmason and Michael Saunders at the end of the year (further more to come in acknowledging Mick in the next few weeks).
Enjoy the week ahead, Ben.

We are excited to announce that we have now partnered with an independent Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) provider called TheirCare.
