Our Prayer
From the Principal
Dear parents and carers,
Term 1 is always a busy one with beginning of year events, sporting activities and settling into new classrooms. This term has seemed even more frantic and we are all looking forward to the break. This week is our final week of term and we commence our school holidays at 2:15pm this Thursday the 28th of March. The next day is Good Friday public holiday and Sunday is Easter. We return to school on Monday 15th of April for the beginning of Term 2.
LEARNING AND TEACHING
Easter Raffle
Our Easter raffle will be drawn this Thursday at assembly 11.30am.
If you haven't already, please bring your Easter donation into the office.
If you need more raffle books please contact the office and we can send them home for you.
Please return the books to school along with the money. ($1 per ticket = $20 per book) ASAP.
The Easter raffle is one of our major fundraisers for the year and is a highlight for the children!
The Week Ahead
Last day of term
This Thursday, March 28th assembly will be starting at 11.30am with students of the week, followed by our Easter raffle. Students will be finishing the day at 2.15pm.

We will hold the Grade 3 to 6 events at the Camperdown Showgrounds beginning at 11:30am and the Foundation to Grade 2 events back at school after second break, 2.15pm. Please pop this day in your diary as it is often a wonderful community event.
District Aths
We have 32 students who will be going to the District Aths tomorrow at the Frederick Street athletics track. Congratulations and good luck to the following children!

Building Program
The capital works project rolls on with our retaining walls almost complete and the foundations being prepared for pouring over the school holidays. Having the cement trucks coming on site over the holidays is a much safer option than during term. So far, apart from a little dust and noise, there has been minimal disruption to our school programs.
Known Dates
Below is a list of known dates for the rest of this term and next term.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
P&F Meeting
The next meeting of the P&F will be held on Tuesday the 26th of March at 6:30pm in the staffroom. If you are considering helping with the roles advertised over the last two newsletters, we would love to see you at the meeting.
ANZAC Day
Thursday 25th of April is ANZAC Day and St Patrick's students are invited to join the parade for the march. We will meet at the clocktower 9:45am in school uniform to prepare for the march at 10am to the war memorial for the formal ceremony. Our school leaders will lay a wreath on behalf of the school community.

If you wish for your child to participate in this, please return the form by Thursday 28th March.
Royal Childrens Hospital Good Friday Appeal

If you wish to donate to this worthy cause please have your envelope returned to the office by Thursday the 28th March.
