Our Prayer
From the Principal
Dear parents and carers,
ANZAC Day continues to grow as an important day in the Australian calendar. However you and your family choose to celebrate the day, footy, dawn service, the march or just time with your family, I hope you enjoy the occasion together.
We will be holding an ANZAC Day ceremony at school on Wednesday the 24th of April at 2.20pm to mark this occasion.
Building Update
The majority of the concrete slab for our new build was poured over the school holidays, however the final section is to be done from 6am to 8am this Wednesday the 24th of April. To ensure the safety of everyone we are closing the Henderson entrance to St Patrick's until the final truck has left. Families can use the mercy gate to enter the property until the "All Clear" is given or enter from Dimora Ave on this day.
Mother's Day
Mother's Day this year is on Sunday 12th of May. We would like to wish all of our St Patrick's mothers every happiness on this special occasion. We will celebrate the day on Friday 10th of May with a mothers day stall orgnised by the P&F where simple gifts have been purchased for sale on the day. Parents do not need to donate a gift to the stall this year.
We will not be having a "Mother's Day Breakfast" this year for the following reasons:
- Not all parents are able to make the breakfast
- Some families do not have a mother as a primary carer
- The costs for the event are now significant
We are hoping to hold an alternative opportunity during the school day to incorperate this into the children's learning.
