From the Principal
Dear parents and carers,
Term 3 is well under way now and our children have settled back into the routine of school after the holidays. We have many staff and students away at the moment with cold and flu symptoms. As we have all learnt over the past few years, it is important to stay home if unwell to prevent the spread of these illnesses.
Trivia Night
A huge congratulations to the St Pat's P&F for organising and running a sensational Trivia Night last Friday evening. With over 100 in attendance, it was a huge financial success but more importantly, it was a wonderful community event with fun and healthy rivalry between the tables. We raised $1 721 on the night.
Winning Teams
1st - Pink Freud
2nd - The Colman Medalists
Equal 3rd - Jake brought Wine and Hey Siri
Wooden Spoon - We drink to think
Major Raffle Drawn
We have had a wonderful response to our major raffle this year and it was drawn at the Trivia Night last Friday. We made just over $10,000 with this fundraiser. Special thanks go to Laura Woodmason and Rochelle Pekin who coordinated the whole event and to the 3/4 parents who helped with ticket sales down the street.
Congratulations to our winners
1st - The Powling Family $2000 Shopping spree
2nd - Kristen Gee $1000 Shopping spree
3rd - Steve Sinnott $500 Shopping spree
It's a Boy
Congratulations to Amy and Martin Wynd on the arrival of Alfie George. All are doing very well. Florence and Freddie are very excited with their new baby brother.

Known Dates
Below is a list of known dates at this stage for the rest of this year.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Community Meal
Once again St Patrick's will be providing food and workers for the Community Meal. 5/6HJ will be on duty this Wednesday the 7th of August at the Uniting Church Hall.
Father's Day at St Pat's
Father's Day will be celebrated on Sunday the 1st of September this year. At St Patrick's we will be hosting an afternoon tea and school assembly on Friday 30th of August to show our dads or other special people how important they are in our lives. The P&F will be running a Father's Day Stall to allow our students to buy a special gift to present on the day. There is no need to send in a present. The P&F have brought the presents for your children to purchase from the stall.
TheirCare
Theircare has now commenced at St Patrick's School and it's not too late to enrol.
We are excited to announce that we have now partnered with an independent Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) provider called TheirCare.
TheirCare provides a stimulating and safe environment for all children. During sessions, children develop life-skills, friendships, confidence, and creativity through play-based programs.
For further information, visit www.theircare.com.au or call our support office on 1300 072 410
