Week 5 Prayer
From the Principal
Greetings everyone and welcome to a new week, albeit a short one.
Principal Announcement: I hope all families have been able to read through the announcement sent home this afternoon. This announcement has been sent just after 2pm.
End of Day Collection Arrangements: A key point of concern for children each day is how they are getting home, when children are unaware of this it can cause great anxiety. A reminder that if your child's usual end of day arrangements change, for example, if they are not to go home on the bus, it is essential that you inform the school of these changes. The easiest way to do this is via the PAM app or via a phone call to the school. If we have not received a notification from you, your child will be required to go home via their normal method.
2025 Foundation Interviews: It was brilliant to meet with our newest students and their families over the last week. We look forward to their next day with us on November 14.
Enjoy the week ahead, Ben.
Sam Walsh Visit
Tomorrow, Thursday 7th November, Sam will be coming to have a Q&A session with the Grade 5/6 students at 10am, followed by a short whole school Q&A at 10:40am. We look forward to welcoming Sam back to his former primary school.
St John's Ambulance AED Donation
Today we received an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) as part of the first national Drive-a-thon organised by St John Ambulance.
The initiative is part of a St John Ambulance effort to save lives and empower communities across the country. The Drive-a-thon begins in Darwin on National Restart a Heart Day, Wednesday 16 October, and will conclude in Adelaide on Saturday 14 December, just in time for the St John Ambulance Carols by Candlelight, which will be broadcast nationally on Channel 7.
Over 60 days, volunteers will travel more than 16,000 km across every state and territory, delivering free CPR training to 5,000 Australians and installing $50,000 worth of lifesaving Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
The initiative is designed to enhance community safety and empower communities across the country.
Our school are pleased to partner with St John's on this extremely important project and thank them for their kind donation.
Remembrance Day
Monday November 11 is Remembrance Day, our chance to remember and say thank you to all who have served for our country. The school captains will join the service at the town memorial, with all other children participating in a service here at school.
Remembrance Day merchandise is available to purchase at school. Items range from $2 - $10 and it is cash only please.

We are excited to announce that we have now partnered with an independent Outside of School Hours Care (OSHC) provider called TheirCare.
