Camperdown Show Oct 11th
From the Principal

Dear Parents, Carers and Students,
Welcome back to Term Four! It’s been absolutely wonderful to hear the happy buzz of students chatting in the corridors, excitedly sharing stories about their holiday adventures. There’s nothing quite like the energy that a new term brings – and Term Four is always a special one!
Our talented students have been busy crafting poems for this year’s Camperdown Show, and it’s been a joy to see their creativity shine! From heartfelt verses, clever rhymes and acrostic poems, each entry reflects courage and originality. Best of luck to our budding poets.
As the weather warms up, this is a friendly reminder that all students are required to wear a school hat during outdoor play and activities. Please help us by checking at home to make sure hats are labelled, in good condition, and encouraging sun smart practices both in and out of school.
I wish to invite you to our upcoming School Art Night on Tuesday 14th from 6-8pm, a celebration of our students' incredible creativity and imagination! Bring along family and friends to admire the colourful, thoughtful, and expressive artworks on display here at school. We’re so proud of what our children have created – we can't wait to share it with you!
The final chapter of the school year, Term Four promises rich learning, fun activities, and exciting opportunities for every student to shine. We can’t wait to see what our students accomplish in the weeks ahead. Join me as we all embrace this term with positivity, curiosity, and a love for learning.
Here’s to a fantastic Term Four!
Darren

LEARNING AND TEACHING
St Patrick's 2025 Arts Night Exhibition.

Mini Golf Meets Environmental Art at St Pat’s
One Night Only!
Camperdown Tuesday 14 October, 6pm to 8pm.
St Patrick’s Primary School is inviting the community to grab a putter and step into an art show like no other.
For one night only, the school’s students have transformed a simple mini golf course into a wild and wonderful interactive art installation, shining a spotlight on the threatened species of Eastern Maar Country.
From the Growling Grass Frog to the Red-tailed Black Cockatoo, the course takes players on a journey through sculpted habitats, all handmade by students. Each hole highlights a local species under threat, including the Orange-bellied Parrot, Silver Banksia, Golden Sun Moth, Dwarf Galaxias, Gang-gang Cockatoo and more.
It’s fun. It’s creative. And it’s carrying a big message: we all have a role to play in caring for Country.
The course, custom made by members of the Timboon Men's shed, has been generously loaned by the Port Campbell Community Park Committee and the students have added their own artistic magic, turning it into something completely unique. Be warned though...there are whispers of feral cats lurking among the fairways...
This year’s art show theme is Lakes and Craters Country: Where We Live and Learn, a celebration of the local landscape and all the life it supports.
Additional Art exhibition items will include classroom exhibits and a Glow Room exhibit, all under the one roof.
A dinner option of Hotdogs and soft drink will be on sale in the Staff Room.
